Kaeli decided for her birthday activity she wanted to go skydiving! Why my child does this to me I do not understand!!! We found a place in Dallas that does indoor skydiving and (with a little bit of resistance from me) got in the car and went. When we got there we told our instructor it was Kaeli's birthday so he gave her a special bear hat to wear! She was being very confident in her ability to skydive before we ever got into the chamber. Our instructor took full advantage of that and spun her several times and also held her back so she couldn't move but she didn't know what he was doing. We were laughing so hard because we could see it and she was trying so hard!! Serves her right ;)
She invited her Jake to come with us. He was a good sport hanging out with the family all night!!!
I tried to get out of going but Rick made me do it. He is good at doing that sometimes.
Each of us took our turn in the chamber. They control how fast the air comes in which makes you go higher. They start you out slowly then increase it so you go higher. I was just fine staying near the bottom but they shot me up high anyway. I can now say that I did it and can successfully check that off my bucket list! (Not that it was on there to begin with but I was persuaded to add it!)
Afterwards we went to Chuy's for dinner and came home and had chocolate dessert. Kaeli had a good time which was all that I wanted.
