Munich was a fun release after being in Dachau. The city was fun with lot's of people and lot's of things to do!
This is in the city center in Marienplatz Square. It has a huge clock at the top with goes off on the hour with beer drinking dancers. Munich is known for beer. It is everywhere!! We got to walk around the city and took a little tour. You had to eat bratwurst and sourkraut which was so yummy! We stayed out late that night so the kids could see the soccer game. We went had pizza at 11 p.m. in some sports bar and we tried to navigate the train back to our hotel. We only got a little lost before we found our way back. Thank heavens for gelato which makes everything better. I had a pina colada one in Munich which was unbelievable.
We visited the BMW plant and I told Rick this is what I got him for a present! He didn't think it was funny but I did! Maybe my next car will be European!
The poor Munich royalty have a baby castle compared to the other ones we've seen. Kaeli said she could manage if she had too! That girl has no clue. I think it's time to take another poverty laced trip to get back some perspective.
