Verona, Italy

The town of Verona redeemed my opinion of Italy!  It was the cutest little town and so fun to wander through.  The main attraction is the house of Juliet.  They have so many fun little traditions.  The biggest one involves the statue of Juliet. The legend says that if you put your hand on her breast that is supposed to guarantee you success in love!  The also have a gate in her garden where you are supposed to put a lock on it and throw away the key to seal in your love forever!  In the entrance to her house you can write your name on her wall.  There were thousands of names on there.  I wonder how often they have to paint that over and cut off all the locks.  If you left a letter to Juliet in her mailbox her secretaries would write you back!  I was tempted to do it but we only had a few hours to explore.  I got an apron here to remind me of Verona.
