Neuschwanstein, Germany

The castles all throughout the German country sides are amazing!  This one is one of the more famous ones.  Walt Disney took his inspiration from this castle for his.  It was quite a good hike to get up there but the views were breathtaking!  So was the castle for that matter.  It's hard to imagine people actually living in them.  Kaeli decided that she could live there.  She would have been lost and never found her away around.  The King that built this castle was young and only lived there 77 days before he was killed.  400 years later we are walking though his house and enjoying it.  I never cease to be amazed at the craftsmanship that is in there.  They didn't have power tools to do all that and it's unbelievable how talented these people were.

In this town they are known for their Cuckoo Clocks.  I had to get a small one!  I think that it will drive the dogs crazy so we'll see how that goes!  We ate this sandwich that was delicious and apple strudel!  When in Germany you know.....
