Our Costa Rica Adventure!!

At the beginning of January we sat our kids down for our annual "New Year Goals" family night. Together we decided that for Christmas this year we would take a family vacation instead of getting them presents. After much discussion of where we should go (everyone had their own ideas which, of course, were all different) it was finally decided that we would go to Costa Rica.

It is the most beautiful country and we wanted to share that with our kids. Rick & I served our missions there so it has special meaning to both of us. We wanted our kids to know how important it was for us to serve the Lord. The time that we spent in Costa Rica taught us many things. It changed my life profoundly. Although it has been many years since I have been there, I can't wait for my kids to experience another culture and people and hopefully instill in their hearts an appreciation for what they have in life and the opportunities that they have been given. Most of all we wanted the chance to have some quality family time without all of the many distractions of the world. We are going to take them on great adventures and wanted to share those with you too!
