Monteverde

We took a night time tour of the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve.  Most of the animals there are nocturnal so we wanted to do it at night.  There were some very unique plants and animals there.  Kaeli thought the hot lips flower was very cute.  There were glow-in-the-dark mushrooms and worms, lots of spiders, and a big coconut bird which had some really funky name that I can´t remember.  We got to climb inside a three hundred year old tree that had a hollow center and was enormous.  They call it a strangler tree.  We had a great walk around.  I think it would be worth seeing again in the daylight.
