Day 4- River Rafting in Corobici

Today we went river rafting in Corobici.  It was a great trip- the kids got to see a lot of tropical birds and wildlife.  Ben loved the iguanas and lizards but his favorite thing was the howler monkeys.  Ben got quite good at speaking to them- we stopped the boat a couple of times for him to carry on quite a conversation with them.  They also got to see crocodiles and coati.  To get to Corobici you have to drive through the country.  I was so glad that my kids got to see more of what a typical house was.  Men were cutting rice fields with machetes, not machines.  On the way back to the beach we talked about our blessings.  I think they have more of an appreciation for our house!
