One of the fun things about running a Ragnar Race is meeting new people! My friend Marissa who has run several Ragnar's with me convinced me to run with her in the Nashville race. We only had 6 people so we joined up with 6 Nashville runners that we have never met before. This was our first time meeting our team mates but we had an absolute blast with them! I guess that's what happens when you spend that much time with someone in car. It is also the first time that I have ever run on a mixed team before.
We spent the day before seeing the Nashville sites! The Grand Old Opry lived up to its name.
For the life of me I can't understand why they built a replica of the Parthenon in the middle of nowhere Tennessee but here it is. I can't wait to see the real one some day!

The best part of this trip was having Cyndi drive up from Georgia to meet me and we road tripped back to Texas! I miss her so much and it was so much fun just to have a couple of days to take our time getting back home. We went exploring everywhere we went!
The fall foliage made for a great run. Tennessee is really quite pretty!
Had to throw in our Texas sign. Although we were a little bummed because we really weren't ready to be done with our adventure!!
