In my opinion there is no contest between the two parks. I will always be a Disney girl. I have been there more times than I can count but I love it just the same!
The boys had never seen the new addition to Fantasyland so we had fun showing them around. Josh hasn't quite got the vision and just wanted to go to Harry Potter for the thrill rides.
I had to keep up the family tradition of eating at the 50's diner! Our waiter was hilarious and we will always eat there no matter how hard the kids complain!!!
No they are not too old to take pictures with the characters. Josh has a picture with Cinderella as his screen saver on his phone.
Animal Kingdom is so fun to visit. The tree of life is a highlight! Since my kids love animals and sometimes act like them I thought it was only right that we make sure to spend some time here.
We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge so Kaeli could go out on the balcony and see her girafes. This was my breakfast in the morning! Love them!!! Next time I think we will stay at the Polynesian Resort. Josh is planning on another cruise for spring break next year!!!
We only had one day at Harry Potter so we decided to the VIP tour which was amazing!! It's the only way to see that park. For 7 hours they take you to the front of the line on all the rides you want. They also give you a back stage tour which was really neat! Josh enjoyed the roller coasters much more in this park! Gringots was so well done! Universal is slowing learning.
For some unknown reason, Kaeli really likes the dinosaur ride.
The night bus driver made sure we knew where the train station was to get us back to Hogsmeade!
I think we all really enjoyed our frozen butterbeer and eating at the leaky cauldron. I love the train ride to Hogwarts. They did a great job with that too!
The kids accused me of running them ragged! They fell asleep the minute they got in the car and told me to slow down the whole time but that is not in my nature! We were pretty tired after three long park days and the cruise on top of it.
I love to travel and see new places and experience new things but there is nothing like home and my Texas sunrises and being greeted by three cute puppies who missed me so much!
