Cyndi & I decided to sneak away for a few days on a much needed girl's trip. The beach sounded good so we headed off to Pensacola, Florida. I miss having her nearby. No matter how far apart we live I can always count on her for anything. She is my one friend who will go anywhere and have silly, fun adventures with me. Georgia is way to far away.
Our first stop was the Pensacola Lighthouse. It was A LOT of stairs but the view from the top was amazing. I love the ocean! It's so peaceful and relaxing.
Next stop was the Naval Base Museum. I think I would have loved to be a fighter pilot except without the fighting part. I found a blue cougar plane!

I can go anywhere with Cyndi and it becomes a fun day!

I think one of the best things about Florida is the food. Everything we ate was so delicious!
There are no words to describe just how yummy this Key Lime Pie was! There is a restaurant called Founder's Chowder House. This is what they served! We ate there a couple of times.
You have to get past this to get in!
This little yummy thing was our favorite breakfast drink! Tropical Sunrise!!
Three days was not long enough but I laughed more in them than I have in a long time. Can't wait for the next trip!
