Kaeli's first girl trip!!!

Kaeli informed me she needed a vacation.  After laughing so hard and finally catching my breathe I told her I needed one too!  I got on our american express points page to see what I could come up with to surprise her for her birthday.  I found the perfect spot- The Bahama's!!  We are both "beach girls"  and love the ocean especially the carribean blue waters.  I found a resort in Nassau that she has been dying to go to.  It's called Atlantis and they have created an underwater masterpiece.  It is all set up like the lost city of Atlantis and was so amazing in what they have done.  Not much can match the magic of Disney in my eyes but they came VERY close.  We spent five days having so much fun that we didn't want to come home.  We stayed up late playing UNO and spent all day in the water.  It was so fun for me to have my girl all to myself for a week which never happens.  She talked and talked which was unbelievable since I usually get the eye roll when I ask about what is going on in her world.  I'm still trying to figure out how to make that happen at home.  I guess a trip to the carribean might have to be a yearly trip for us!
