Bravery!!!

Ever since the kids were little I have made them try new things.  Some things  they have loved and some things they hated but at least they tried it.  Kaeli is my worst one of all.  Especially when it comes to food.  Not so brave!  I had the most amazing fish I've ever eaten and I couldn't get her to try even the tinest bite.  On the flip side, Kaeli is very adventurous.  She will try about anything.  The fame of Atlantis is this monster water slide.  This is what it looks like!
It's called- "The Leap of Faith"
Do you want to know why its called that?  Because the thing is awful.  You almost die going on the thing.  Your whole body actually does not even touch the slide for most of it.  It's so scary!  It shoots you strait down and then into a clear tube full of sharks swimming above you.  Water shoots so far up your nose it swirls your brain not to mention the fact that it gives you an epic size wedgy.  I took one look at that thing and told Kaeli I defenitely wasn't tall enough to ride that!  She then used my own words against me.  I really hate it when they do that.  She reminded me how important it was to try it at least once so I was forced to go on that thing.  I can now say I was brave and did it.  I was sorely tempted to ask how many people died on that but I didn't!  I was happy I was alive.  It would be bad to leave my teenage daughter in a foreign country alone.  I can't even tell you how many boys stopped and turned to stare at her.  I gave them my best  "Keep Walking"  look.
One of the slides was called the challenger.  It was a race down and I am proud to say I beat my daughter down twice.  The rest of them were really fun.  One was completely black and couldn't see anything and it dropped you out in a cave.  The whole park was incredible.
