Today Jeff graduated from Southern Miss with his Ph.D. in English. We are so proud of him. We drove over from Texas which was an eight hour drive. It's really nice having another driver now. Ben loved having the opportunity to drive. We had a great morning visiting with Bob & Vicki and watching Jeff looking so regal in his graduation robes. The kids did great considering it was boring for them to listen to the Secretary of the Navy speak about how great the military can be.
Afterwards we went to lunch at the Pastry Garden. The potato salad was made with sour cream which was different. We have found lot's of things that are unique in Mississippi. We still tease Kaeli about calling it "another country". It's been raining hard all day. We took a very quick tour of the zoo- They had howler monkeys which made us very excited for our Costa Rica trip. I got a picture of this wild jaguar-
