This is the main reason Ben didn't want to go anywhere for Christmas this year. He got his permit the day after his 15 birthday. Driving in the car with him is frightening. He is doing a great job and being very careful but just the thought of having a child old enough to start driving is not settling well with his mother who doesn't feel old enough to have a son that old. He now wants to drive every where we go. He makes up excuses to go to the store several times a day. We tease him and tell him he is turning into his great-grandpa who does the same thing but for different reasons.
wow, that's me in a year. aack! and the great grandpa comment cracked me up.
