Happy 40th Birthday to me! (a few weeks early!)

My very sweet husband bought me a wonderful birthday present a few weeks early.  We have been trying to decide for several weeks which car we wanted.   He chose a different one that I really didn't like but he got me the one I wanted anyway.  What a great husband I have!!!

Turning 40 is not so happy for me.  I loved my 30's.  I ran my first marathon and a few more after that for good measure.  I really was in the best shape I had ever been. My days are numbered before that decade ends and another one starts.  My spirit is very willing but my body just doesn't do the things it used.  This is really hard to accept.   I can now go as fast as I want in my pretty blue car instead of my feet!!!!
