One of the great races of Texas is the Cowtown Marathon. It starts is center of Fort Worth and goes through the historic and cultural districts. This year there were over 21,000 runners. It is amazing that all of those people can run through the small and narrow streets of Fort Worth. It was a chilly morning but the sun came out and warmed us right up. I ran with my friend Mary. This was her first half marathon and I'm so proud of her. It was a great race!!! I am grateful to feel so healthy and happy. I love watching the older women run and aspire to be just like them. I am a little sore tonight!!!
