Outdoor School!

Last week I got to go on a field trip with Josh.  It was called outdoor school and they got to spend the whole day outside studying science and nature.  We planted wild flowers for the springtime and it was a great experience for Josh.  They learned that planting is not so easy in the hard Texas soil.  We went hiking for a couple of hours and most of the other kids in his class starting complaining.  Josh informed them that the trail was easy and they didn't know what hard was until their mom's drag them through jungle mountains.  He led the way and was the navigator.  He also took it upon himself to be the "No Whining Policeman".  He had his teacher just laughing.  I did have to remind him how much whining I had to endure from him on our not so easy hike.  Amazingly, he didn't remember that part.
